About the Company
Hiring for a new creative audio agency that creates podcasts and advertising for top global brands. The award-winning, highly-creative staff includes TV writers and producers and ad agency creatives. The atmosphere of the workplace is fun, fast-paced, and always interesting.

About the Role
As Coordinator/Producer you will play a significant role in planning, management, creative development, execution (pre-production through post-production) of an award-winning podcast.

About You
You are highly organized, self-motivated, passionate professional who embraces wearing many hats. You’re a great communicator and creative problem solver. 
A MUST: You have worked in
the podcast industry and are up to date on the latest tools and trends.

Areas of Responsibility
Project Management/Coordination

  • Oversee entire project from planning through final delivery 
  • Oversee scheduling, audio recording, and file management and provide smart, targeted feedback and a creative ear
  • Create, own, and modify production and creative calendars to facilitate all aspects of creative and content development
  • Manage multiple deadlines and clearly communicate those to all internal and external parties
  • Interact with and attend meetings with key decision makers from the brand
  • Serve as production team point-of-contact while collaborating with promotions
  • Conduct research to support creative concepting and content development
  • Facilitate communication between all teams and coordinate client and creative team feedback

Podcast Expertise

  • Write or edit copy to support client needs including script, show/episode descriptions, website copy, audio spots, trailer, etc. 
  • Create and manage RSS feeds and podcast hosting
  • Book guests and talent, and serve as point-of-contact through entire process
  • Podcast production – recording, editing or working with audio editors

 

Would be a major plus for you to have experience in some/any of the following areas:

  • Riverside FM 
  • Podcast promotion and audience growth
  • Book guests and talent, and serve as point-of-contact through entire process 
  • Understanding of analytics, podcast performance and listenership (e.g. # of downloads, etc.)
  • Using YouTube/video as a podcast platform
  • Spotlighting (e.g. Apple/Spotify)
 
Hybrid position – must be able to attend in person in NYC, Salary $55k
